Many people want to catch some waves like a pro. But only few of windsurfer is mastering the technique. Basic advances style of windsurfer is pop over the wave. Minimal board speed can move you over most waves. You need to master this technique before jump to the next advanced style.

As you approach, set a wide stance on the center line with your front foot open by pointing the nose at the wave. You need to weight your back foot, raising the nose, while simultaneously sheeting in, initiating the climb right before the wave hits.
